Locomotive safety protection in spring and summer
in spring and summer, the locomotive is used frequently, and the locomotive is seriously infected by wind, sand, dust, high temperature, high humidity, rainstorm and flood. If maintenance and repair are not carried out in time during operation, accidents such as tire blowout, overturning, fire and so on are likely to occur. Therefore, the safety maintenance of locomotives should be strengthened in spring and summer
first, choose high-quality fuel
using low-quality fuel is very easy to block the gasoline pump, fuel filter, fuel injection nozzle and other components in the fuel supply system. Poor fuel supply will lead to the decline of engine performance, and even cause the engine to shut down and fail to start under serious circumstances, causing the vehicle to break down. If inferior diesel oil is used for a long time, the residue of colloid and impurity combustion will also form hard carbon deposits, which will affect the normal opening and closing of intake and exhaust valves and degrade the engine performance. Therefore, the locomotive must use clean fuel oil and lubricating oil, and its label should be filled according to the requirements specified in the instructions
II. Explosion proof tires for driving on high temperature roads
in hot weather, the ground temperature is high, and the gas in the tire expands, raising the tire pressure. If you don't pay attention to prevention, it is easy to cause a tire burst. Therefore, when driving on a hot day, the tire pressure should be 2%~3% lower than the standard pressure, so as to avoid tire damage and extended service. Once the tire is found to have bulges, punctures and other phenomena, it should be replaced in time. Stones, iron pins and other foreign matters in the tread groove should be removed in time. If you feel hot by touching the carcass with the back of your hand, it means that the tire temperature on the surface has reached more than 60 degrees, and the vehicle cannot continue to drive, otherwise it will cause a tire burst. Overload is not allowed in hot summer days
III. beware of water shortage in the water tank
it is hot in spring and summer, and the evaporation of water in the water tank is accelerated, so pay attention to inspection and addition at all times. In case of water shortage, do not rush to add cold water directly, but idle at low speed for a period of time, and slowly add cold water shortage after the water temperature drops below 60 ℃, so as to prevent the explosion of relevant parts of the locomotive. When the cooling water "boils", be sure not to open the radiator cap immediately to prevent the hot water and steam from scalding the human body
IV. beware of battery dehydration and vulcanization
locomotives are generally equipped with ordinary lead-acid batteries. When the temperature is high, the evaporation capacity is large, and the application of electrolyte water is relatively easy to reduce. If distilled water is not added in time, the battery plate will be exposed to the liquid level, and the exposed part is very easy to vulcanize. Therefore, in spring and summer, it is necessary to check and supplement distilled water in time, keep the liquid level 10~15mm higher than the electrode plate, and maintain the electrolyte density at 1.24g/cm3. It is forbidden to use purified drinking water instead of distilled water
v. avoid overloaded continuous operation
the weather is hot, people lack sleep, and it is easy to drive fatigue and accidents. Therefore, drivers must keep enough sleep before driving, and do not drive at the time when they are used to sleeping; Pay attention to the combination of work and rest, and never drive with fatigue. In addition, it is best to control the working load of the locomotive at about 85% to avoid overloaded operation. The locomotive should be allowed to rest at noon in summer. During continuous operation, always check the temperature of tires, water temperature, oil and machine body. If the temperature is too high, stop and rest for a period of time, and work after the temperature drops
VI. corrosive dirt should be removed in time
it is hot and rainy in summer. After the locomotive works for a period of time, the body is easy to be contaminated with mud, especially the bottom of the vehicle has the most dirt accumulation. If it is not cleaned in time, the corrosive dirt attached to the body surface will seriously damage the body and paint surface. In particular, because the chassis of the locomotive is close to the ground, rain and dirt are easy to splash on the chassis of the locomotive. It is easy to cause corrosion of the air conditioning shell made of rusty gold and environmentally friendly materials. Therefore, after driving in the rainy season, the chassis should be thoroughly cleaned and treated for rust prevention. It is best to seal the locomotive chassis to form a protective layer on the surface of the locomotive chassis. In addition, due to the humid air in the rainy season, it is easy to breed various bacteria, so when the weather is fine, the locomotive cab can be opened for ventilation to promote the dryness in the car. In addition, the rubber on the wiper must be replaced in time to prevent driving accidents caused by unclean wiper during heavy rain. When parking, try to choose a cool place to avoid direct sunlight, so that the temperature in the car will not be too high, and at the same time, it can also prevent the rubber and plastic parts such as locomotive tires from aging in advance
